The Allianz Arena is one of the most iconic stadiums in Europe and home to Bayern Munich. Known for its illuminated exterior and modern design, it offers a top-class matchday experience.
Located just outside the city, it is easy to reach and very well organised for visiting fans. The stadium is designed for comfort and visibility, with excellent sightlines from all areas.

Away End at Allianz Arena

The away end at the Allianz Arena is located in the upper tier behind one of the goals.

• Typical allocation: around 3,000 seats
• Located in blocks 340–347 (upper corner/behind goal area)
• Elevated position but with a clear view of the pitch

Away fans are grouped together in a secure section, with separate entrances and facilities. While the distance from the pitch is slightly higher than in older stadiums, the view remains excellent and the section allows for good atmosphere among travelling supporters.

Fanzones & Fan Areas

For European matches, designated fan meeting points or fanzones may be set up in Munich. Many away fans also gather in the city centre before travelling to the stadium together.

Getting to the Stadium

The stadium is easy to reach:

• U-Bahn line U6 to Fröttmaning
• From there, a 10–15 minute walk to the stadium
• Well signposted routes for away fans

Public transport is the standard option for all supporters.

Tips for Away Fans

• Travel early to avoid crowds on the U6 line
• Expect a well-controlled but relaxed environment
• Food and drinks are widely available
• Plan your return journey as trains can be busy

The experience is smooth and fan-friendly compared to many other European stadiums.
